Dear Edgemont Families,

Welcome back to another great week at Edgemont!  Here are the announcements and calendar items for this week. 

Picture Makeup Day Coming:

Picture makeup day is coming up on Monday, October 7. Group class photos will also be taken that day. (Attached is an order form for those who didn’t order on picture day)

Lost and Found:

Come pick up your lost items! There are jackets, sweatshirts and lunchboxes galore in the lost and found. We’ll be sending them to DI soon.

District Sex Education Committee Parent Rep Needed:

Provo School District is required by law to maintain a committee to review any curriculum or guest speakers which teach students a range of items around the topic of Sex Education.  Schools are asked to contact parents to participate on the district Sex Education committee. The time commitment to serve on this committee is to attend 2 meetings (one in the fall and one in the spring) each year. These meetings will be held virtually at 4pm. We need one parent rep from Edgemont for this district committee. If you would be willing to serve on this committee, please email harmonyk@provo.edu. If you have questions about the committee please contact Brian Mangum at the Provo School District offices. 

Drop off and Pick up Reminder:

Please only drop off and pick up your children in the designated pick up/drop off areas in front of the school.  Do not drop off or pick up your children in the neighborhood behind the school or along Timpview drive.  Thank you for your attention and help with this matter.
