Dear Edgemont Families,

Welcome back to school this week. We’re happy to see you all! This week is Hope Week at Edgemont. Our Hope Squad has planned some fun activities during lunch recess all week to celebrate Hope Week. We’re on the home stretch now of the school year. Please continue to send your children to school each day and make sure they are on time. We’ve still got lots to do and finish before the end of the year. Have a great week!

Monday, April 22: Pledge to Give Hope (sign the poster and get a pin during lunch)

• Watch our weekly video announcement

Tuesday, April 23: Color the World with Kindness (wear colors to support kindness: K–red, 1–orange, 2–yellow, 3–green, 4–blue, 5–purple, 6–pink) and Lifesaver quotes handed out at the end of the day

• 7:30 am – Choir Practice  

Wednesday, April 24: Dance for Hope (dance party during lunch)

Thursday, April 25: Kind notes (write a kind note to someone in the school during lunch)

• 7:30 am – Choir practice
• 3:30 pm – 5th grade Hope of America practice 

Friday, April 26: Hope through games and art (recess games and chalk the sidewalk with messages of hope at lunch)

• 8:00 am – 4th-6th Kindness club
• 1:30 pm Early Release for students
