Dear Edgemont Families, Welcome back to school! 

I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break. It’s hard to believe we are in the home stretch of the school year now. The state RISE testing for 3rd-6th starts this week. Please help your child to get a good night’s sleep before their test days. It’s also important for them to be here each day and be on time.  We still have lots to teach and learn, between the end of year testing, before the end of the school year. Thanks for all of your support and the great things you do to support and help your children do well in school.  Have a great week! Here’s what’s happening at Edgemont this week.

Here’s a video we’re sharing about the Gaga ball rules in case you’d like to watch it too.  There seems to be some issues out at recess with students not following the rules for the game.  We’re hoping a quick review will help everyone remember the game rules.

11:24 am – 1:40 pm – Solar eclipse – here in Utah we will only be able to see a partial solar eclipse this time, but it’s still fun to see and enjoy!  Please be sure to use solar glasses or other solar eclipse viewing devices.  Please do not look directly at the sun!
