Dear Parents,
We had another great week at Edgemont! It was so fun seeing Kindergarten back again. They are doing a wonderful job at adjusting to school. We wanted to update you on some great news at Edgemont. Because of the growth in Kindergarten and Fourth grade, we’ve received approval to add additional Kindergarten and Fourth grade classrooms. We’ll be hiring this week and creating the new classes in these grades. They will start on the day after Labor Day. Speaking of Labor day, please remember there is no school next Monday. Also, if you haven’t joined PTA yet, please join soon. This is a great organization that works hard to support our school and your children. We’d love to have you be a part of it! Below you can see what’s happening at Edgemont this week. Have a great week!
- Tuesday, August 29: 2:45 pm – Fire Drill – please do not pick up your children during this time.
- Friday, September 1: School Spirit Fridays – wear your Edgemont t-shirt, sweatshirt, or jacket 9:00 K-3 SOAR Assembly 9:30 4-6 SOAR Assembly – 1:30 pm – Early Release

Queridos padres,
¡Hemos enido otra gran semana en Edgemont! Fue muy divertido ver a Kindergarten de nuevo. Están haciendo un rabajo maravilloso para adaptarse a la escuela. Queríamos ponerles al día sobre algunas grandes noticias en Edgemont. Debido al crecimiento en Kindergarten y Cuarto grado, hemos recibido la aprobación para añadir más aulas de Kindergarten y Cuarto grado. Estaremos contratando esta semana y creando las nuevas clases en estos grados. Comenzarán el día después del Día del Trabajo. Hablando del Día del Trabajo, por favor recuerden que no hay escuela el próximo lunes. También, si usted no se ha unido a PTA odavía, por favor únase pronto. Esta es una gran organización que rabaja duro para apoyar a nuestra escuela y a sus hijos. Nos encantaría que formaran parte de ella.
