Other Important information

Halloween Costumes, Parades, and Parties Costumes – children can wear costumes to school on Halloween day during the school day, but it is not required.  If they wear a costume, please be sure the costume allows them to participate in regular classroom work, specialties classes, and recess.  Please make sure costumes are appropriate for school, contain no gore, and do not include masks, hoods, or weapons.  

Parade – our parade will begin at 1:15 pm and take place around the outside perimeter of the school.  Parents are invited to come watch their child in the parade by lining up outside around the perimeter of the building. 

Class parties – class parties will begin after the parade at 2:15 pm.  Please contact your child’s teacher to find out how you can help with the class Halloween parade.  

Sub for Santa Info

All families that need help this holiday season are invited to participate in the United Way Sub for Santa program.  To participate please fill out the attached form and return it to the office by Friday, Nov. 4th.  There is also a section to indicate if you would like to help another Edgemont family this year.
