Reminder about our new safety updates at Edgemont Elementary:

Starting Monday, October 3, our outside cafeteria door will be closed and locked at all times.  Students who eat breakfast will need to come in through the front doors starting at 8:15 am and go to the cafeteria to eat breakfast.  After breakfast they will go outside to play until the bell rings. All other students not eating breakfast will continue to go play on the back playground until the bell rings and their teachers come to pick them up.

Starting on Thursday, October 6 our front office vestibule will be locked.  To enter the front office parents and visitors will need to ring the bell by the office door and then our front office staff will let them into the office.  The front office door locks 10 minutes after the tardy bell each day.

Later this month, please watch for our front vestibule to be updated with our new check in system.  Once that is in place, parents and visitors will need to bring a government ID to school each time they come to be able to enter the building.  Please watch the video on our school website edgemont.provo.edu to learn more about the new check in/check out system that the district will be putting in place here at Edgemont.
