We’ve made it to the last week of this school year!  Our PTA Edgemont Extravaganza was a huge success! It was fun to be able to have it again this year after the last few years of no Extravaganza because of covid.  A huge thank you and shoutout goes to our PTA ladies for their hard work on the Extravaganza. It was amazing! This week is busy with lots of fun last week of school activities. Please see the calendar below for more information. As we wrap up this school year, we want you to know that we’ve loved having your children at Edgemont this year.  Seeing them grow and learn has been wonderful!  We’ll send out information about the new school year towards the end of July and early August. We’ll send the information through email, our school website and our social media.  We hope you all have a fun, relaxing, and restful summer break.  We’ll see you back at school on Tuesday, August 16. Here are some important events this week at Edgemont:

Monday, May 23: 9-11:00 am – Edgemont 5k – starts in the front of the school – parent helpers needed 1:00 pm Yearbooks passed out to classes – if you wish to purchase one, we have about 20 left for $15 each.  You can buy them in the front office.

Wednesday, May 25: 9-12:00 pm – Field day out on the field – parent helpers needed to run stations 12:00-12:30 pm – All students eat lunch outside or in their classrooms

Thursday, May 26: 9-11:00 am – 6th grade graduation – gym/stage 1:30 pm – Early out for students – please be on time to pick up your child since we will be closing the school at 1:30 pm for our faculty end of year luncheon.

Friday, May 27: Last day of school Final day to make class requests for next year- fill out form in for the office (no email or phone requests this year). 1:30 pm – Early out for students – Term 4 standard reports sent home – please be on time to pick up your children since the school will be closing at 1:30 pm

Edgemont Summer Hours: Last week of May – Tuesday, May 31, 9-12:00 pm June – Tuesdays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm July – Tuesdays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm August – Resume regular school hours

¡Hemos llegado a la última semana de este año escolar! ¡Nuestro PTA Edgemont Extravaganza fue un gran éxito! Fue divertido poder tenerlo de nuevo este año después de los últimos años de no tener Extravaganza debido a covid. Un gran agradecimiento y grito va a nuestras damas de la PTA por su duro trabajo en la Extravaganza. ¡Fue increíble! Esta semana está ocupada con un montón de diversión la última semana de actividades escolares. Por favor vea el calendario abajo para más información. Al terminar este año escolar, queremos que sepan que nos ha encantado tener a sus hijos en Edgemont este año. ¡Verlos crecer y aprender ha sido maravilloso! Enviaremos información sobre el nuevo año escolar hacia finales de julio y principios de agosto. Enviaremos la información a través del correo electrónico, nuestro sitio web de la escuela y nuestras redes sociales. Esperamos que todos tengáis unas vacaciones de verano divertidas, relajantes y descansadas. Os veremos de vuelta en el colegio el martes 16 de agosto.

Lunes, 23 de mayo: 9-11:00 am – Edgemont 5k – comienza en el frente de la escuela – se necesitan padres ayudantes 1:00 pm Anuarios repartidos a las clases – si desea comprar uno, nos quedan unos 20 por $15 cada uno. Pueden comprarlos en la oficina principal.

Miércoles, 25 de mayo: 9-12:00 pm – Día de campo en el campo – padres ayudantes necesarios para ejecutar las estaciones 12:00-12:30 pm – Todos los estudiantes comen el almuerzo fuera o en sus aulas

Jueves, 26 de mayo: 9-11:00 am – Graduación de 6º grado – gimnasio/escenario 1:30 pm – Salida temprana para los estudiantes – por favor llegue a tiempo para recoger a su hijo ya que vamos a cerrar la escuela a la 1:30 pm para nuestro almuerzo de fin de año de la facultad.

Viernes, 27 de mayo: Último día de clases Último día para hacer solicitudes de clases para el próximo año – rellene el formulario en la oficina (no hay solicitudes por correo electrónico o por teléfono este año). 1:30 pm – Salida temprana para los estudiantes – Informes estándar del cuarto trimestre enviados a casa – por favor sean puntuales para recoger a sus hijos ya que la escuela cerrará a la 1:30 pm
