Welcome back to school this week!  It’s Halloween week and we know the children will be excited and looking forward to Thursday.  Please remind them to leave their Halloween candy at home so it doesn’t distract them at school.  On Halloween day, we’ll have our Parade at 1:00 pm.  Please watch your email for the parade route and where parents can stand to watch students parade by in their costumes.  Speaking of costumes, just a reminder to keep costumes appropriate for school. No gore, weapons or masks are allowed at school.  Save those for trick or treating time that night.  Students will also need to be able to participate in classroom learning, recess, and specialties so please make sure their costume allows them to do that.  If they don’t want to wear their costume to school, they can bring it and change before the parade. Classroom parties will start at 2:15 pm.  Please reach out to your classroom teacher if you’d like to help out.  After all of that, enjoy the extra hour we gain on Sunday when daylight savings time ends and we fall an hour back.  Read below for more information about this week and have a great week!
