Reflections is a national art contest that all youth K-12 can participate in. There are several categories that they can enter original art into: Photography, Dance, Music, Film, Literature, 2D Art, 3D Art, and Special Artist (this category is for students that have disabilities or have an IEP/504). All entries are submitted online at the Utah PTA Website. Each category has a set of rules that must be followed to be accepted. The students’ written artist statement is worth a lot of points, so encourage them to write something meaningful. You may be asked to provide the artwork if it is selected to move on to the next level and/or be displayed. Levels include: school, district, region, state, and national. Students may enter into multiple categories. Entries for Edgemont Elementary are due October 2nd.
