On Thursday, April 20, at 2:00 pm, our school will participate in the “Great Utah Shakeout” and practice an earthquake drill. For this drill, we teach the students to drop, cover and hold on. We play earthquake sounds over the intercom and the students move under desks and tables until the sound stops. You can find more information about the “Great Utah Shakeout” at this website https://www.shakeout.org/utah/index.html. Your family or workplace may even want to participate! While we are participating in this drill, we will not be able to dismiss or call down students to the office. The drill will take about 10-15 minutes. If you have any questions, please contact the front office.
