Dear Parents,As you know from a previous email we are working along with the district to update our security at Edgemont. As part of that security there are a couple of items we wanted you to update you on:

Starting Monday, October 3, our outside cafeteria door will be closed.  Students who eat breakfast will need to come in through the front doors and go to the cafeteria to eat breakfast.  After breakfast they will go outside to play until the bell rings. All other students not eating breakfast will continue to go play on the back playground until the bell rings to go to class.   On Thursday, October 6 our front office vestibule will be locked.  To enter the front office you will need to ring the bell by the office door and then our front office staff will let you into the office.   Later this month, please watch for our front vestibule to be updated with our new check in system.  Once that is in place, you’ll need to bring a government ID with you to school each time you come, to enter the building.  Please watch the video below to learn more about the new check in/check out system that the district will be putting in place here at Edgemont.
