At Edgemont, we are so pleased to have an outstanding custodian.  He loves our school and takes care of the building in such a wonderful way.  He also takes care of the people as well.  Every holiday is celebrated with gusto and his extraordinary efforts.  For example, for Valentine’s Day, every student arrives to school to find a valentine on their desk from Mr. Nielsen.  This year, he even included a valentine pencil.

The students and staff decided that they wanted to give back to such a kind and caring person.  Valentine’s Day this year was declared “Jessy Day”.  Hearts and pictures and cards were found all over the school as students and teachers expressed their thanks and joy at having such a wonderful custodian.  Teachers pretended to have custodial emergencies just so they could call him to their rooms for a heartfelt surprise.  We appreciate our wonderful custodian.
