At Edgemont, we have a highly trained group of aides that provide additional support for our Reading Intervention program for students. Our school has a common intervention time set aside for every grade level for this type of instruction.  This instruction is specially geared to the whole spectrum of students–those who need enrichment to students who need extra exposure to basic foundational skills.  Our teachers are skilled in using data from classroom instruction, reading assessments, Acadience testing, and computer reading support programs to identify and address student needs.  We appreciate the tremendous help and extra support that these fantastic aides provide.
