News
Students in Mrs. Patching’s third grade STEAM class recently had a superb activity with parachutes. They have been studying cause and effect through force and motion. They experimented with parachute toys. They learned that the fuller the chute, the gentler it falls. Also, the wider chute provides more resistance to the air as the force of gravity is pulling it down. What a fun way to learn!
