White Ribbon Week–devices Disappear Wednesday
Devices Disappear WEDNESDAY The challenge today is to limit screen time. Everyone (kids & parents!) put away their devices this evening and eat dinner and do an activity together, as a family. Play a game, watch your favorite TV show, whatever you choose, together is the most important part!
Fun facts: did you know that eating dinner as a family
Lowers risk of substance abuse
Leads to better academic performance
Decreases obesity and eating disorders
Increases self esteem and resilience
“Showing your kids that you love them is 2% effort and 98% putting your phone down.” – Collin Kartchner
What will you do tonight? We’re excited just thinking about the possibilities!

White Ribbon Week–Our Wednesday Challenge is to make devices disappear.
In case you missed it…
NetSmartz October Tip: Modeling Tech Balance. Limit your notifications, not all notifications are created equal! Develop healthy digital habits by scheduling entertainment time–don’t immediately pick up your device if you are bored. Declutter your device and simplify your life. Get rid of apps you don’t use or that don’t truly make you happy.
