Welcome to Edgemont Elementary PTA for 2022-2023! We have some fun events coming up and are looking for some help. 

1. Vision Screening: September 12th 9-12pm. You will help the kids complete their vision screening. I am looking for 6 more volunteers for this. ( Brooke Madsen and Emily Pearl are already signed up) This is a fun time to chat with the kids and meet some fellow parents.

2. Bike to School Week: September 12-16th. 8:00-8:40am. You will be at a table on the playground and passing out raffle papers to the children who bike/scooter to school. I am looking for 4 volunteers each day.

3. Fund Run: September 23rd 9-12pm. This is a fun event where the kids run laps to earn money for their classrooms. All money that is raised goes directly to the teachers/classrooms. We need lots of parents to help us set up, and be there to cheer on our runners.

4. Reflections: Heidi Jensen, our chairperson, is looking for 3-4 adults to help with compliance of projects. It is all done online, and can be done from home.

¡Bienvenidos a la PTA de Edgemont Elementary para el 2022-2023! Tenemos algunos eventos divertidos por venir y estamos buscando algo de ayuda. 

1. Examen de la vista: 12 de septiembre 9-12pm. Usted ayudará a los niños a completar su examen de visión. Estoy buscando 6 voluntarios más para esto. (Brooke Madsen y Emily Pearl ya están inscritas) Este es un momento divertido para charlar con los niños y conocer a otros padres.

2. 2. Semana de la Bicicleta a la Escuela: Del 12 al 16 de septiembre. 8:00-8:40am. Estarás en una mesa en el patio de recreo y repartiendo papeles para la rifa a los niños que vayan en bicicleta/scooter a la escuela. Estoy buscando 4 voluntarios cada día.

3. Carrera de Fondos: 23 de septiembre 9-12pm. Este es un evento divertido donde los niños corren vueltas para ganar dinero para sus aulas. Todo el dinero que se recauda va directamente a los maestros/aulas. Necesitamos muchos padres que nos ayuden a organizarlo, y que estén allí para animar a nuestros corredores.

4. 4. Reflexiones: Heidi Jensen, nuestra presidenta, está buscando 3-4 adultos para ayudar con el cumplimiento de los proyectos. Todo se hace en línea, y se puede hacer desde casa.
