Hello Edgemont Families!
Thank you for all of your hard work these last few weeks. It has been a learning experience for students, teachers, and parents, but I have seen some amazing things happen in the midst of all the craziness! Next week, April 6-10 we will have our scheduled Spring Break. This means no school work or assignments will be given during this time. Everyone needs to take a much needed break to rest and relax because we will have three more weeks of online learning afterwards. Some parents have requested ideas for activities they can have their children do during spring break to keep them learning. I’ve attached an amazing list of ideas for at home learning that will engage your children in learning in a fun, hands on way. This list is optional of course, but has some fun ideas to keep kids busy during a Spring Break where everyone is home. Children can also access Reading Plus, Lexia, and Successmaker to keep practicing their reading and math skills. Thank you again for your dedication to your children. I miss seeing you all at school and hope you are all staying healthy and safe! Have a wonderful spring break and we’ll see you back online again on April 13.
