Class Begins: January 6
Instructor: Becca Lee Ogden
If you like to read, write, and make up stories, this is the class for you! In this class, we’ll explore what it means to be a creative writer. Each week we’ll learn something new about the art and craft of storytelling. We’ll talk about how to find inspiration even in the most unusual of situations, we’ll experiment with different writing styles, and we’ll explore concepts like genre, plot, character, and conflict. Each student will have their own commonplace book to keep track of all their ideas, stories, and weekly writing prompts. This class is for writers of all levels, interests, and abilities, so come join us!
Becca Lee Ogden graduated from BYU with a BA in English, an MA in British Literature, and an MFA in Creative Writing.
