Kindergartners are learning the engineering process as they define a problem, imagine solutions, make a plan, create and improve a design. Today they applied this process to building a bridge. The students read the story “The Gingerbread Man” and decided to save the gingerbread man by building a bridge so the sly fox wouldn’t have to carry him across the river. The gingerbread man will have better luck next time with the collective creativity and building techniques of these young engineers!
