Edgemont has some fun things going on in the library! One exciting activity is something that happens year long and is a district program called Provo READS. Starting in October there will be a theme of books that the librarian will share books on and encourage children to read books of that genre. If they read a book in that genre and enter the drawing, they have a chance to earn a free book! The theme for October is “Reading Opens Windows to Exploration” and includes books that are nonfiction and fiction related to the solar system, space travel/exploration, future technology, sci-fi, what’s inside ourselves, and friendships found in library sections 200, 500, 700 and 900. Stay tuned for our next library activity announcement coming soon!”
