NewsEdgemont teachers have been improving their STEAM instruction with wonderful Professional Development training from Amy Rosenvall from the Teaching and Learning Department at the district and Dr. Steve Shumway from BYU. In this particular training, teachers were learning about Maglev trains and systems. These trainings increase teachers’ skill levels in STEAM instructional delivery. At Edgemont, we challenge our students to learn through problem-based activities and to be collaborative team members in finding solutions.
