At Edgemont we offer two learning tracks, S.T.E.A.M. (Stands for: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) and French beginning in the first grade. Whether your child learns in the French immersion or S.T.E.A.M. classroom, they will be offered tremendous learning opportunities that will help prepare them for life! The common bond between our learning tracks are the specialized art and music classes and our state of the art Space Lab. Both French Immersion and S.T.E.A.M. students will have unique integrated learning opportunities provided by our music, art and space lab instructors.

The following chart illustrates the two learning tracks we offer and what proficiencies and projects students will participate in for each grade level. You may find this helpful as you decided which track is best for your child.

If you are interested in your child being placed in a French Immersion classroom, you must complete an application by Friday, February 21. Follow this link to the application.  If you would like your child to be enrolled in a S.T.E.A.M. classroom you do not need to submit an application. Please reach out to a Kindergarten teacher or the front office with questions.
